Brooke took Elijah fishing up the road for daddy-son fishing time after school. Five minutes after they started fishing Elijah caught a fish, a little perch. He was so excited, he kept saying, "I caught my first fish!". Then he had to call me to tell the rest of the family what he caught. Right after that he caught another fish. He kept telling Brooke that he caught more fish than Brooke. By the end of an hour, Elijah caught 3 little perch. Brook was a little busy helping Elijah untangle his pole and baiting Elijah's line for him. It was just a really exciting moment for Elijah and Brooke was really proud of him. A great hour spent with just dad. Rustin's turn is tomorrow.
