Reading Christmas stories, it was a fun break. Tons of kids but so much fun.
This is kind-of fun. When Brooke and his brother Cody were younger they put together a time capsule and buried it in their old back yard. So over the break they went back and dug it up and pulled out all of the things they had put into it. They had some pretty random stuff in it. An old baseball, tie tack, gum, baseball cards, marbles, a little toy gun.
After they unwrapped all of it there was enough for each of the grand kids to have a keepsake from all those years ago. So if you and your kids are ever bored, put together a time capsule and bury it somewhere you'll be able to get to years later. My boys are already scouting out a spot to plant it.
This game was called the "Snowball wars" or something. You have 2 teams and you have to relay the foam ball by blowing through a straw. Fun and it did get a little tense for a while. Thanks again Aunt Ginger for the fun times. We saw the movie "Tangeled" and did some skiing and tied some quilts with Brooke's mom. The kids loved, loved being with their cousins!
