Cooper's 5th Birthday Party...a few days after his party.

The transformer pinata, this thing wasn't breaking worth anything. The kids beat the crap out of it and it still wouldn't break. We finally had to drop it to the ground and let them tear it apart. We did have some fun tricking them while they batted.

Oh, he loved his cakes, half of the kids wanted a bat piece and the other half wanted a ball piece.

Amazingly everyone fit around the table.

My friend Monica was gracious enough to decorate these cake for me (since my soccer ball was a flop). She is a pro at piping and decorating cakes. A big thanks again for all of her hard work! So his birthday theme was supposed to be all about baseball but it ended up being baseball...star wars (he really wanted his guests to have star wars goodie bags)... and transformers (no one sells baseball pinatas so transformer pinata it was). Who am I to tell him to stick to one theme after all, it is his birthday party.

The kids played a few rounds of duck duck goose while they waited for the present opening.

Thanks to my sister and her family for coming to help me put on the party. They took care of most of it while I took pictures, video and enjoyed his party as much as he did. This was the face painting station.

They were all great artists!

We had a balloon decorating station, which by the way kids love! I put balloons on some wooden dowels and bought some foam stickers and the kids went to town decorating them how they wanted to. Having no specific pattern or way of doing it was great. They got to "free hand" it and be a little creative. The girls especially loved this station, most of them spent most of their time here.

My sister played the game simon says with the balloons in the basement while we waited for all of the guests to arrive.
