Cooper is graduating from pre-school! So now he's going to experience all-day kindergarten in Louisiana, that will be a rude awakening for him, especially since he is known for crashing on the floor in the afternoons. His teacher's had cute little graduation caps and she had black tissue paper robes for them but since the weather wasn't cooperating with the days festivities, they got wet. So here's a picture with the cap.
Luckily it just sprinkled. The kids got their "yearbooks" from the year (a scrap book made for each of them by their teachers that highlighted some fun events that their class has had throughout the year). Each of the classes marched into the pavilion to the tune of the graduation song (sorry I can't remember what it's called). After that, the teacher's talked all about how our kids have learned and have grown so much during the year. Then the kids sang songs that they learned throughout the year everywhere from Halloween songs to songs about brushing their teeth. So cute to see all of these little faces putting on a show for their families.
Rhett and Cooper, the "Best Buddies" as they call themselves.
Miss. Keisha and Miss. Sandy (their fun teachers). These teacher's really did a great job. They made learning fun, rewarding and never a dull moment. They really gave all of their attention to those kids! They had a fun water day, a parade and even got to ride a real pony (in honor of cowboy week). Just some of the many fun things they had for the kids. A big thanks to them for making Cooper's pre-school experience a good one.
